Polymer fluid has a surface tension itself, so in the thin layer of polymer fluid, dewetting occurs to attain equilibrium state. Previously, polymer dewetting have been investigated in many ways such as interaction between surface related with chemistry, polymer chain conformation in block copolymer and surface topology. In this study, we focused on dewetting phenomena of Polystyrene(PS), especially the effect of molecular weight of PS on curing time which is required to form regular line patterns. Line pattern induced physically confined PDMS molds. The curing time gradually increase with molecular weight increase. Here, we also observe dewetting behavior depending on polymer layer thickness. These experiments is expected to contribute for understanding of polymer behavior. |
