Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been of great interest because of their outstanding mechanical and electrical properties. Especially, single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) coatings on film have been investigated as transparent conductive films (TCFs) to alternate Indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode. In order to fully utilize the properties of SWCNTs in practical applications, efficient dispersion of SWCNTs is firstly required. As a development of SWCNT-based TCFs, non-covalent modification using small molecular surfactants or polymeric dispersants has been investigated to obtain well-dispersed SWCNTs. However, the remained dispersants reduce electrical properties. Therefore post treatment to remove unnecessary residue is inevitable for high conductivity. Poly[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate-co-polystyrene](pDMAEMA-co-pSt) was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and used as a polymeric dispersant for SWCNTs in organic solvent.. SWNTs coatings on glass substrates, were prepared via spin-coating method. Furthermore, to enhance the conductivity of TCFs, thermal post treatments of TCFs were carried out. |
