Among many kinds of energy storage devices, supercapacitor has become the focus due to its high energy density, long-life cycle and stability. In this study, we investigated and characterized the electrochemical behavior of the activated carbon based supercapacitor on the different types of ionic liquid-gel polymer electrolyte. The electrochemical performances of the supercapacitor were evaluated by using cyclic voltammetry(CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), and galvanostatic charge/discharge tests(GCD). The highest specific capacitance was 106 Fg-1 at 5 mVs-1 of scan rate with PVA/H3PO4/BMIMBF4 electrolyte. |
