Cell signal-responsive gene regulation delivery for tumor cell-specific therapy & imaging |
초록 |
Cell specificity is one of the most important issues in drug or gene delivery systems to avid adverse effects. To accumulate nano-particle, EPR effect and active targeting are the major strategies to accumulate materials to target sites. However, both strategies haven’t been able to avoid undesired delivery into normal organs. On the other hand we have proposed novel concept of gene delivery system. In this strategy, pharmacoactivity or detecting signal is masked in normal cells, but they can be activated by pathological signaling in target disease cells. Using this methodology, we have developed various gene delivery systems with highly specificity against target disease cells and also the methodologies can be applied to cell-specific imaging system. The concept and their applications will be introduced. |
