제목 Effect of Norbornene-based Monomers on Cure Kinetics of Dicyclopentadiene
초록 Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) has attracted significant attention as a monomer for ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) in industrial applications. In this work, the cure kinetics of DCPD incorporated with different norbornene―based monemers in the presence of Grubbs catalyst were investigated in dynamic and isothermal conditions by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). In dynamic experiments, the two methods of Ozawa and Kissinger were used to obtain activation energy from the exothermal peaks at various heating rates. The isothermal experiments were performed to determine the relationship between the glass transition temperature (Tg) and degree of cure.
