제목 Thermal properties of rigid polyurethane foams prepared from Mannich polyols based on glycolysis products of waste printed circuit boards
초록 Rigid polyurethane (PU) foam is one of excellent thermally insulatiing materials and is being applied for refrigerating systems and building insulation. Rigid PU foams for building insulation are required to meet the self-extinguishing properties as well as low thermal conductivities from viewpoints of safty in fire and energy saving respectively. Mannich polyols based on phenol derivatives are known to be desirable for the preparation of rigid PU foams showing excellent flame retardant properties and thermally insulating properties. Mannich polyols were prepared from phenolic derivatives obtained from glycolyses reactions of waste printed circuit boards manufactured from brominated epoxy resins. It was found that the rigid PU foams prepared from Mannich polyol based on the glycolyses products of waste printed circuit boards show excellent flame retardant properties compared with those based on conventional polyols.
