A new phosphorescent Iridium complex, Ir(TMP-DT)2(acac) was synthesized for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). This material designed by result of Gaussian modeling program. The ligand, TMP-DT, have both the electron donor and acceptor sites in its structure. And It showed Intramolecular Charge Transfer(ICT) property. The TMP-DT was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction, and Ir complex was synthesized by Nonoyama reaction. The UV-Visible absorption peak of TMP-DT was measured to be at 336 nm and its photoluminescence (PL) emission spectrum showed blue light-emission peaked at 432 nm in chloroform solvent. The devices fabricated by Ir(TMP-DT)2(acac) as emitting layer dopant. The device structures were ITO / NPB / CBP: Ir(TMP-DT)2(acac) / Bphen / Liq / Al. |
