제목 Synthesis of hydrophobic mesoporous materials for lysozyme adsorption.
초록 The immobilization of enzymes on inorganic materials is very useful for practical application because of the potential to improve the stability of enzymes under extreme conditions. Among inorganic materials, mesoporous materials possess extremely high surface areas and pore sizes in the range of 2-50 nm. The pore sizes of mesoporous materials are comparable to the diameter of enzymes and for this reason these materials are suitable in the immobilization of enzyme. The adsorption of lysozyme on the SBA-15 and PMO materials from buffered solutions with different pH values has been studies as a model protein adsorption system. It has been found that the amount of enzyme adsorbed depends on the solution pH. The maximum amount of enzyme has been achieved at pH near the pI. These materials have been characterized by means of UV/Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR and confocal laser scanning microscopy.
