제목 Low-temperature Solution-processed Molybdenum Oxide Derivative as an Efficient Hole Transport Layer for Organic Solar Cells
초록 Organic solar cells (OSCs) have emerged as a prominent solution to resolve the environmental and energy related issues, owing to their advantages such as simple and low-cost fabrication processing and flexibility. In this work, we introduce a simple yet effective synthesis approach of molybdenum oxide derivative solutions, via carefully controlling the mixtures of polar solvents, at relatively low processing temperature and time for applications as the hole transport layer (HTL) in OSCs. The as-synthesized molybdenum oxide derivative HTL was applied to poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenylC61-butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PC61BM) based OSC structures, showing desirable device performance compared with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) based reference cells. Our work successfully demonstrates molybdenum oxide derivative based HTL can be a promising alternative to PEDOT:PSS for producing efficient and stable OSCs, overcoming the drawbacks of PEDOT:PSS.
