Biofuel production : modelling and simulation |

Biofuels have the potential to contribute to growing world energy demands. To develop and design efficient bioprocesses for the production of biofuels modelling and simulation are indispensable tools. In this study existing modelling and simulation methods are examined with the aim to provide accurate and simple models which can be used for the design of biorefineries producing biofuels and valuable products. Hence, appropriate methods are suggested and demonstrated through case studies for a number of biofuels. |
