Polythiophene derivatives were applied to the nano-imprinting patterning for electrochromic device fabrication. Nano-pattern transfer was performed onto spin-coated pristine film by single and double imprinting resulting in nano line and pillar gratings, respectively with grating period of 250~400 nm, and depth of 25~70 nm. Cyclic voltammogram revealed that nano-patterned polythiophene electrode has higher facilitated charge transport compared to pristine film, and electrochromic device showed higher optical contrast, faster response, and elevated coloration efficiency (605, 807 and 875 cm2/C for pristine, single patterned, and double patterned device, respectively). |
