Silver nanowire (AgNW) has been shown to form high quality electrode coatings from solution processes. Furthermore, the AgNW electrode has high transmittance in the visible wavelength region that is comparable to that of ITO with similar sheet resistance. However, AgNW electrode has been unsuitable for many device applications due to non-uniform random network structures. The Non-uniformity of AgNW leads to high electrical deviation, result in there are serious drawbacks on the fabrication of high efficient optoelectronic devices. In this work, the electrical deviation problems could be overcome by filling the AgNW network with conducting polymer. Conducting polymer serves as not only connector between AgNWs but also overcoat layer, which can reduce the roughness. As conducting polymer, PEDOT:PSS is selected because of its high optical transparency and electrical conductivity. The PEDOT:PSS filled in AgNW network provides electrical pathway, as a result, electrical deviation is greatly improved better than pristine AgNW film. |
