제목 | Optical analysis onairborne bacteria inactivation with dielectric barrier discharge using humiditycontrol |
초록 | Research has beencarried out to remove Airborne bacteria through Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD), reducing ozone generated by DBD and increasing humidity around thedischarge area to increase sterilization capacity [1]. In this paper, themechanism of ozone generation and sterilization due to humidity is analyzed byOptical Mission Spectroscopy (OES) [2]. The plasma temperature was estimated bycomparing spectra measured by OES with SPECAIR. When humidity increases from50% to 70%, the vibration temperature of N2 decreases by 600K. Inlower vibrational state will lead to O2 dissociation with lowerprobability due to the lower vibrational energy transfer. Optical emissionspectra of OH (A-X) can be seen that the emission intensity is getting higherwhen humidity increases from 50 % to 70 %. |
