제목 Electrospinning of Poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) and Gelatin for Tissue Engineering Scaffolds
초록 Electrospun fibers have been investigated as promising tissue engineering scaffolds since they can mimic ECM. We introduced biodegradable PLCL and gelatin as electrospinning materials. We found out the diameters of the composite fibers were strongly dependent on the mixing ratio of PLCL and gelatin. We could investigate the relationships of mechanical property from the stress-strain curves. In order to study cell adhesion and proliferation fibroblasts (NIH-3T3, ATCC) were seeded onto electrospun fibers and cultured. As tissue engineering scaffolds for ligament and tendon, we designed core–shell structure. Electrospinning was performed to cover the core part equally with PLCL / gelatin composite. Therefore we have tried to overcome difficulties with cell adhesion and proliferation at the early stage of cell / tissue culture process. We could expect this core – shell structure would be a good candidate as tissue engineering scaffolds for the ligament and tendon regeneration.
