제목 Enhanced Antimicrobial Effects of Plasma-treated Silver Nanoparticles
초록 We synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) coated by Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) to prevent their aggregation. The temperature dependence on the size of AgNPs is studied. Atmospheric Ar plasma was applied to the AgNP solution in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) to modify the surface of AgNPs. We show that the plasma-treated AgNPs have better antimicrobial effects when they are exposed to E.coli and Staphylococcus aures. Furthermore, we fabricated poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) nanofibers containing AgNPs for wound dressing.
