제목 Poly (butylenes succinate) / modified MMT nanocomposites for the purpose of high-performance biodegradable polymer
초록 The organic clays containing urethane group were successfully modified by covalent bond between silanol group of clay side and hydroxyl group of organic modifier in silicate layer. Poly (butylene succinate) (PBS)/ surface treated MMT of (30BM) nanocomposites and PBS/modified MMT (10A) nanocomposites were prepared by in-situ polymerization Then, their samples were investigated for morphological, physical, thermal and dynamic mechanical properties to prove modified clay effect in PBS matrix and were compared with each other. Their chemical structure was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometer. From the results of TEM micrograph (a close sized 10nm) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements, we can explain the degree of exfoliation and the effect of surface treatment on clay dispersibility.
