제목 Synthesis of Poly(methyl methacrylate) GraftedMagnetite Nanoparticles through Surface functionalized Thiol-Lactam Initiated Radical Polymerization
초록 Immobilization of a thiol group onto the Fe3O4 surface by the action of mercaptopropyltrimethoxylsilane (MPS) coupling agent which afforded the subsequent surface-thiol to produce functional polymer brushes. Poly(methyl methacrylate) grafted magnetite nanoparticles prepared by using a thiol-lactam-initiated radical-polymerization via thegrafting-from approach. The synthesized organicinorganic hybrid nanoparticles showed an exceptionally good dispersibility in organic solvents and the detailed characterization were carried out by using FT-IR, XPS, GPC, TGA, SQUID and TEM.
