제목 Silicon-Graphene-MnO2 Ternary Nanocomposites for High Performance  Li-Ion Battery Anodes
초록 In this study, graphene nanosheets (GNSs) are used to stably support silicon nanoparticles (Si NPs) for Li-ion battery electrodes, by which the structural pulverization and capacity fading upon cycling can be significantly suppressed. However, since the GNSs are prone to restack to form graphite, it is difficult to maintain the optimized composition and morphology for fabrication of anode material. To challenge this issue, we introduce a novel electrode system of ternary nanocomposites with including one-dimensional MnO2 nanoneedles. In particular, these MnO2 nanoneedles can intercalate into the planar structured GNSs uniformly, in such a way that excellent capability of electron and ion transport can be achieved. As a result, the proposed ternary nanocomposites exhibit dramatically enhanced electrochemical performance in Li-Ion battery anodes.
