제목 Stimulus Responsive Hydrogels Based on Cellulose Nanofibril and Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) for Drug Release
초록 This work reports stimulus responsive hydrogels prepared by combining cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) isolated by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical (TEMPO)-mediated oxidation with poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) for drug release. Interpenetrating network (IPN) hydrogels were prepared by combining CNFs of different surface charge levels with PNIPAM to make the hydrogels responsive to pH and temperature at the same time. Characteristics of these hydrogels such as internal morphology, porosity, swelling ratio and stimulus responsiveness were investigated. Drug-releasing behavior of these hydrogels was also evaluated to understand stimulus responsiveness at different pH and temperature levels.
