제목 Preparation of Enantioselective Graphene Sensors Using Chiral Functionalization Molecules
초록 Discrimination of enantiomeric chemical molecules is one of the most important issues in chemical and biological fields because of the various chirality-induced properties of enantiomers. Here, we report the fabrication of graphene chemical sensors with chiral functionalization molecule which is synthesized from pyrene structure. Chiral functionalization molecule itself demonstrated chiral optical responsivity for mixing with different β-citronellol enantiomers. Graphene sensor was functionalized using solution deposition via the strong π-π interaction between graphene and pyrene moiety of chiral functionalization molecule. Fabricated enantioselective chemical sensors were successfully utilized for discrimination of β-citronellol enantiomer, in vapor phase sensing. Our results represent a significant step towards the improvement of chiral electronics field.
