제목 | Self-supporting electrocatalyst based on NiFe layered double hydroxide nanosheets for efficient oxygen evolution reaction |
초록 | Thedevelopment of highly efficient, low-cost and durable electrocatalysts forwater splitting is highly appropriate for the renewableenergy sources. Herein, we suggest that a single phase of layered doublehydroxide can be controlled from nickel hydroxide to NiFe-layered doublehydroxide without any secondary phase such as oxides by using asimple hydrothermal method. In addition, NiFe-LDH electrocatalyst was obtainedunder optimized synthetic condition appears a lower overpotential of 210 mV ata current density of 100 mA cm-2. Furthermore, we discuss thestructural and electrochemical characterization of the NiFe-LDH forunderstanding of the electrocatalytic mechanism of the oxygen evolutionreaction (OER).
