Single-crystalline SrTiO3 nanomaterials was successfully synthesized by a simple, reproducible, easily scaled up route and low-cost solvothermal process using the mixed solvent aqueous NaOH-ethanol. By controlling the reaction conditions, showed that the solvent significantly influences the morphology and the crystallization behavior of the final products. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM)) were used to investigate SrTiO3. The obtained nanocrystals are highly uniform in size with particle size of 30-50 nm.We also investigated the photocatalytic activity of SrTiO3 for the decomposition of Rhodamine B. |
