제목 Fabrication of porous polydimethysiloxane/hyaluronic acid sponge containing bio-active substances and evaluation of their stability
초록 Bio-active materials used in cosmetics are very vulnerable to heat and moisture. Thus, the dry cosmetics such as sponge or fiber types have advantages such as sustaining functions of reactive ingredients due to the absence of water in the storage. In this research, the freeze-drying fabrication method has been used to remove water and bio-active substances have been applied to cosmetic products to function on the skin. The porous structure was composed of hyaluronic acid and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for sustaining moisturizing properties and several bio-active materials for anti-aging or whitening properties. The stability of bio-active substances was investigated after fabrication in the various conditions, resulting that the addition of hydrophobic PDMS has helped sustainability of bio-active substances.
