Simple One-Step Synthesis of Stimuli Responsive Luminescent Carbon Dots Derived from Biomaterial for Cancer Cell Imaging |

We prepared fluorescence targeted delivery and thermos-responsive imaging probes from biomaterial through two carbonization technique. Fluorescent nanoparticles (FCNs) formed via the dehydration of hyaluronic acid, which were obtained by carbonizing hyaluronic acid (HA), and partially carbonized HA fluorescence carbon nanoparticles (HA-FCNs). Then First finding from our group about only single poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) that can be used for thermoresponsive biosensor and with bioimaging after acid treatment through two pathways, partial (F-PNIPAAm) and full (FNP) acid treatment was reported. The carbonized treatment time can control the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of PNIPAAm which offers material as biosensor based on a fluorescent quenching system. These FNPs exhibited tunable luminescence properties, high aqueous stability expecting an enormous potential in the future use of FCNs in bioimaging, drug delivery. |
