Biodegradability of Biobased Polyurethane from Vegetable oil based Polyol |
초록 |
Polyols derived from vegetable oils are new polyurethane (PU) raw materials derived from the renewable resources, and with isocyanates they produce PU that can compete in many aspects with ones derived from the petrochemical polyols. The main objective of this research is to synthesize biobased PU, and study the influence of the concentration of vegetable oil based polyol on the properties and biodegradability of the new material. CO2 evolved as a result of biobased PU biodegradation was determined gravimetrically and volumetrically by modified Sturm test. The soil burial test of biobased PU was also conducted in activated sludge soil for 6 months. |
