제목 Lithographic Microfabrication by using Photosensitive Quantum Dots
초록 Quantum dots(QDs) are a special part of materials known as semiconductors. It is possible for QDs to use for optical filters and waveguide device after embedding into microstructure. Previous attempts for incorporating QDs into microstructures involved mixing of QDs with photo-polymerizable materials or the formation of QDs inside microstructures. Both approaches have severe drawbacks; the former being hampered by aggregation effects and the latter giving raise to undesirable absorption effects due to polydispersity of the QDs. In this work, we have synthesized core-shell type QDs and functionalized surface of QDs with a photopolymerizable ligand containing an acrylate group in order to prevent aggregation of QDs. The photo-functionalized QDs were found to have excellent emission properties. The QDs also showed excellent adhesion to substrates and can be favricated to 2D and 3D patterning by two-photon stereolithography.
