제목 The Effect of the Molecular Structure on the Physical Behavior of the Monolayer of the New Acrylamide/NIPAM Copolymer on the Air/Water Interface
초록 Recently the study about the oil absorbing polymer, which absorbs, swells or gellatinizes the organic solvent or oil mixed with water separately, has received considerable attention. In this study we synthesized the new acrylamide monomers, DPAA(p-Dodecyl Phenyl Acrylamide), NDPA(N-[5-(4-Dodecyl-phenylcarbamoyl)-pentyl]-acrylamide having oil absorbing characteristic and also prepared new acrylamide homopolymer, copolymer using homopolymerization of DPAA, NDPA or copolymerization with NIPAM(N-isopropylacrylamide). After preparing the polymer monolayer on silicon wafer using LB trough, we investigated the changes of the physical behaviors of the polymers depending on temperature, pressure and the changes of the molecular structure by AFM images, π-A isotherm graphs.
