Novel Synthesis of Macromolecular Composites Using Oligopeptides |
초록 |
The use of rigid oligopeptides as host molecules for inorganic clusters such as [60]fullerene was studied and the synthesis was performed by mixing solutions of the individual compounds at room temperature. The products were isolated, purified and characterized by FT-IR and NMR spectroscopy as well as by XRD and TGA measurements. By TGA data it was found that predominantly a [60]fullerene-cyclopeptide 1:2 complex was formed. Shifts of the decomposition temperatures of the products compared to those of the pristine components could also be observed. Energy-minimized modeling studies reveal that [60]fullerene is closely surrounded by two host molecules. Potential applications are based on the combination of the properties of both compound classes and are envisaged in the biomedical field including their use as drug delivery system. |
