제목 | Formation Processes of Fullerenol Films |
초록 | Fullerenols, multi-hydroxylated fullerenes, are gathering the structural advantages of [60]fullerene and the functions of hydroxyl groups. They have shown remarkable properties and interesting applications including the ability to scavenge oxygen radicals, hydroxyl radicals, and superoxide radicals, proton conducting in fuel cells, use as a spherical molecular core in the design of dendritic and star-shaped polymers and use to fabricate conducting elastomers. Recently, we found a very interesting aggregator in the formation processes of a fullerenol film (Fig. 1). {image1} In this work we show the formation processes of fullerenol films and the effect of time and fullerenol concentration on the formation of the films. The properties of these novel films including their semiconductivity, bioactive cell formation, and oxygen radical scavenging are also shown in this study. |
