제목 Carbonization and Spinning of Synthesized PAN byEmulsion Polymerization
초록 In this work, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) was synthesized by emusion polymerization. As the emusion polymerizated PAN had high molecular weights, the properties of carbon fibers can be profitable. PAN fibers as a precursor of carbon fibers with diameterss in the range 10-50㎛ were obtained by wet-spinning of PAN/DMSO solution. Morphologies and structures of PAN precursors were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectrometer (IR) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The mechanical properties of carbonizated PAN fibers was confirmed by universal testing machine (UTM).
