제목 control over silica particles size and aggregation by poly(vinyl pyrrolidinone)
초록 Organic/inorganic hybrid materials are developed to enhance materials properties. Organic/inorganic hybrid materials are made use for many applications for these days. However, when inorganic materials are not dispersed evenly, the properties of the hybird materials such as mechanical property, optical property have poor performance. Consequently, nano scaled fillers dispersed in matrix evenly are devised to enhance the materials properties. In this study, silica/PVP hybird materials are fabricated by sol-gel process. As a result, size of silica particles decrease with increasing temperature and increasing content of PVP. Silica particles fabricated by sol-gel process can be decreased in size. However, silica particles are aggregated when size of silica particles are under 25nm. On the contrary, size and aggregation of silica particles are controled by PVP simultaneously in this study.
