제목 | A Study of IPMC Based on the Copolymerization of Fluoroalkylacrylate and Acrylic acid |
초록 | Ionic polymer-metal composites (IPMC) are active actuators that show large deformation in the presence of low applied voltage and exhibit impedance. These materials have heretofore been manufactured using Nafion perfluorosulfone membrane. Since these materials have somewhat high cost, difficulties of processing and control of membrane thickness, some consideration should be made for alternative matrix material. On account of that, IPMC was prepared by using new membrane which was copolymerized with fluoroalkylacrylate(ZONYL TA-N) and acrylic acid. The electric field induced bending displacement was measured with laser displacement meter. And platinum deposited within the membrane was examined using scanning electron microscopy(SEM). |
