제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Block Copolymer- Organosilica Thin Films with Mesostructure
초록 Structures and pore sizes of the mesoporous silica materials have been varied by several surfactants and polymeric templates. The block copolymer templates obviously yield larger structural features compared with the structural size obtained with low molecular weight surfactants. Especially, with respect to the potential applications such as in separation, catalysis, sensors, and fluidic microsystems, mesostructured silica in the form of thin films is perhaps one of the most promising candidates. We have recently described how block copolymer as a structure-directing agent and organosilica interact to develop well-ordered 2-D hexagonal (p6mm) mesophase. In this study, mesostructured triblock/organosilica thin films with large characteristic length scales were prepared using poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(DL-lactic acid-co-glycolic acid)-poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO-PLGA-PEO) as a structure-directing agent and inorganic precursors such as TEOS and BTESE. We investigated the reaction mechanism between triblock copolymer and organosilica by varying acidity, concentration, reaction temperature, and volume ratio of the block copolymer to silica. We also characterized pore size, pore shape, and packing structure using X-ray diffraction and TEM.
