Electrochemical Performance of Polymer Electrolyte for Supercapacitor |

Recently, digital communications, electric vehicles and other devices that require electrical energy at high power levels in relatively short pulses have prompted considerable research on supercapacitors. Polymer electrolytes have been investigated for supercapacitors. Also these are advantageous over liquid electrolytes in respect of easy handling and reliability without electrolyte leakage. In this preliminary study, an electrochemical supercapacitor in polymer electrolyte has been fabricated using SPEEK(poly ether ether ketone), PAAK gel electrolyte and CNFs that was coated by conductive polymer(DAAQ). SPEEK electrolyte was made from sulfonated of PEEK(poly ether ether ketone). And PAAK(poly acrylic acid potassium) was mixed with KOH aqueous solution. Electrochemical performance of supercapacitor are studied using cyclic voltammetry, and impedance analysis. |
