제목 Hard Coating for PMMA Substrate by UV Curing Process
초록 In order to improve the hardness and the optical properties of PMMA substrate, We performed hard coating with UV curable organic-inorganic hybrid materials for display applications. Frist of all, inorganic parts which include silica were synthesised by sol-gel process with silane coupling agents. Organic parts were made up of oligomer and functional acrylate monomer. Spin coated hard coating layer on PMMA substrate was cured by UV radiation. The optimum ratio conditions and formulation of inorganic parts were investigated. The effects of hard coating layer were characterized by hardness tester, light transmittance. Hard coated PMMA substrate with this hybrid materials was showed slightly improved characteristics such as good hardness, adhesion, UV stability, and high transparency.
