제목 | Hydrolytic Degradation of Poly(D,L-lactide)(PDLLA)/D,L-lactide/PDLLA-Poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-PDLLA Blend System |
초록 | The hydrolysis of PLAs in aqueous media at around pH 7 is believed to proceed via the self- or autocatalytic effect of their terminal carboxyl groups. The effects of structural and molecular characteristics on the autocatalytic hydrolysis of PLAs have been intensively investigated in the phosphate-buffered solution. In this study, ring open polymerization of D,L-lactide was carried out using Tin(Ⅱ)-2-ethyl hexanoate(stannous octoate) catalyst. Poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-poly(D,L-lactide) triblock copolymers of varying molecular weights were synthesized. The PDLLA/D,L-lactide/ PDLLA-PEG-PDLLA blend films were prepared to be amorphous state and their autocatalytic hydrolysis was investigated in the phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.4) at 37℃. Themal and mechanical properties of the blends were also examined. |
