Recently the synthesis of metal nanoparticles having controlled shape and size has attracted considerable attention because the physical, chemical and optical properties of metal nanoparticles could be manipulated by the control of shape, size and crystal structure. Here we synthesized silver nanoparticles via the polyol method and investigated the size and shape variation of the nanoparticles with a kind of polyol. |
