제목 Preparation of Thermo responsive supramolecular Polymeric micelles using Host-Guest Interaction
초록 In the present study, thermo responsive supramolecular polymer micelles composed of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) as the shell and linear poly(DL-lactide) as the core were prepared from β-cyclodextrin terminated poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) and adamantine (ADM)-terminated linear poly(DL-lactide), through host−guest interaction between β-cyclodextrin and adamantine groups. Initially, the hydrophilic polymer PNIPAM was synthesized using RAFT polymerization that was further linked to N3-β-CD through click reaction. In parallel, an adamantane terminated hydrophobic polymer ADM-PDLLA was synthesized using ring opening polymerization (ROP). The synthesized polymers were characterized using 1H NMR, GPC and FTIR. Subsequently, the formation of a pseudo-block copolymer via inclusion complexation between β -CD core and adamantyl-moiety was confirmed by 2D-NOESY NMR. Further, the thermo responsive micellization behavior of the copolymer was confirmed by DLS and TEM.
