제목 Efficient Synthesis of (2S,3S,4S)-3,4-Dihydroxyglutamic Acid
초록 Glutamic acid is the major excitatory neurotransmitter of the central nervous system and its analogues are also shown to possess various biological activities. One of its dihydroxyl analogues, (3S,4S)-dihydroxy-L-glutamic acid that is shown to be a selective agonist for mGluR1, was synthesized efficiently with ca. 10:1 stereoselectivity via the N-ketimine group-controlled dihydroxylation reaction of (Z)-γ-amino-α, β-unsaturated ester that was derived from N-t-Boc-O-Benzyl-L-serine.
