Biodegradable polymers have been considerable interests because they can provide a solution to the environmental problems related to plastic garbage. Among biodegradable polymers, poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) has a biodegradable characteristic as well as a wide range industrial application. In this study, poly(butylene succinate)-based Telechelic ionomers(PBS-Tis) were prepared by in – situ polymerization containing 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 mol% sodium sulfonated ionic groups. Here, we investigated crystallization behavior and physical properties of poly(butylenes succinate)-based Telechelic ionomers using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and melt rheological analysis. |
