제목 Investigation on the Effects of PCL Blending on the Bioactivity of PCL/PLLA Scaffold
초록 Skeletal damages increases in accordance to high elderly population. Tissue engineering can be a good alternative to overcome these problem and attracts great interest in research. Conventional implant materials can be very effective to promote bone regeneration but will be difficult due to immune response and lack of resources. In this study, we prepared 3D polymeric scaffold by blending poly(e-caprolactone) and poly(L-lactic acid) at designated blending ratios. The physicochemical properties of the prepared scaffolds were examined in terms of 3D architecture, water uptake, and chemical states. The blending effects on osteoblast growth and differential patterns were evaluated via cell assays. Our result demonstrates that the our scaffold can be utilized in the preparation of bone substitutes.
