Recently, nanotechnologies have been attracted for biomedical applications due to remarkable physico-chemical potentials in nano-scale. In particular, development of monodisperse and ultrasensitive magnetic nanoparticles can make a stepping-stone of diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Magnetic nanoparticles can be applied for contrast agents of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging that has high spatial resolution and remarkable potential for human body investigation. Furthermore, combination of magnetic nanoparticles and various biocompatible polymers can enhance the applicapablity for biomedical fields. From our researches, we convinced that the multifunctional nanocomposites were effective and excellent for diagnosis and treatment of cancer. |
