제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Physical Properties of PLCL Bone Cement |
초록 | Bone-related diseases such as osteoporosis are becoming a significant health problem with human ageing. As an example, osteoporosis is a demineralizing event of bone tissue resulting in calcium-deficient bone tissue, which dramatically reduces the physical strength of bone. In this study, we prepared bone cement using a PLCL. It was intended to improve the physical and biological properties of the bone cement via incorporating calcium-containing ceramic. The physical and mechanical properties were examined using SEM, EDS, FT-IR and biological properties to biologically stimulate bone cells were characterized in terms of cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation.
