Recently, Paper industry was faced with higher competition in many reasons. To overcome this situation, many companies try to reduce their product cost. Many of methods to evaluate paper properties are existed but have a little relationship between conventional paper properties and runnability. Fracture test method was introduced many years ago but didn`t wellknown for paper industry. Special characteristic of Fracture method is crack and stress concentration in material. The aim of this experiment is to evaluate difference between normal properties and fracture properties of paper with the change of papermaking operation. As a results, fracture toughness was showed different characteristic compare to TEAI according to their stock composition and stress behavior. |
