제목 Fabrication of multi-layered carbon nanotube films for label free DNA detection
초록 The application of CNT paves the way for label free detection in the DNA biosensors, since the electronic properties of CNT are more sensitive to DNA-associated charges as a result of their 1-dimensional structure and high surface-to-volume ratio. For the practical use of CNT as biosensor, we prepared the CNT multi-layered film via consecutive condensation reactions creating stacks of functionalized SWNT layers. DNA oligonucleotides were covalently immobilized to prepatterned CNT multilayered films thorough amide bond formation. The covalent attachment of single strand DNA oligonucleotides to the multilayered film and hybridization with complementary strand DNA oligonucleotides were demonstrated by fluorescence detection. The selectivity of the films to discriminate the extent of complementarity between base pairs is also discussed
