One dimensional nanostructures including nanowires and nanotubes from semiconducting small molecules and polymer are emerging research area due to their high potential for optically or electrically pumped organic laser. To achieve the functionality, various properties are needed at the same time including a high optical transparency, high luminescent quantum yield, high charge carrier mobility, and efficient charge injection to the nanowires. In this study, we have fabricated F8BT(poly(9,9-dioctylflurene-co-benzothiadiazole)) nanowires by a melt-assisted template wetting method. The melt-assisted template wetting method has an advantage enabling a mass production of conjugated polymer nanowires using anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane. The diameter of F8BT nanowires was controlled with pore size of AAO template with various diameters. The characteristic of F8BT nanowires were investigated by Scanning Electron Micropic, X-ray diffraction, Optical Microscopic etc. |
