제목 Controlling the Formation of Noble Metal Nanoparticles Using Galvanic Displacement Reactions on Block Copolymer Nanotemplates
초록 Block copolymer (BCP) self-assembly is a useful platform to generate well defined, ordered periodic nanostructures. Diblock copolymers form nanometer-sized micelles consisting of a soluble corona and an insoluble core in a selective solvent for one of the polymers. It is well known that metal precursors can be bound selectively to one of the constituent BCPs. Following the removal of the BCP templates, highly dense arrays of metal nanoparticles (NPs) can be obtained on a substrate surface. In this presentation, we suggest another strategy to induce metal NPs arrays with controlled composition by applying galvanic displacement reaction (GDR). Concretely, silver NP arrays were first made poly(styrene-block-vinyl pyridine) micelle arrays loaded with AgNO3 precursors. The NP arrays were treated with another type of metal ion solution, leading to spontaneous GDR due to the immediate contact between the metal ions and the surfaces of metallic NPs arrays.
