Recently, the bio-based polymer has become essentially important to polymer engineering world due to environmental issues and global warming. Continuous researches on various monomer materials have been studied throughout the world. In this study, the monomer was lactic acid. Although the direct polymerization of lactic acid has not been successful, researches on such effect has also not been clarified. Therefore the effect of various pH on such materials during polymerization is studied. The pH buffer solutions were synthesized directly in the lab and to ensure the degree of polymerization, equal reaction environment was applied. MALDI – TOF, IR and H1-NMR was also used to identify the effect on various pH during polymerization. |
