The transesterification of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) with glycerol to produce glycerol carbonate was investigated in the presence of CaO and calcium glyceroxides under various reaction conditions. In this study, catalytic activity, reusability and calcium solubility of each catalyst was investigated.
