Effect of Cross linking by Gamma Radiation on Sodium Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose-Gelatin-BCP Hydrogel for bone tissue engineering |
초록 |
To meet the demand of bone regeneration due to fracture or disease, there are many reports on the fabrication of bone substitutes which are combined with bio-ceramics and bio-polymer. In this work, nanoparticles BCP powder loaded sodium carboxyl methyl cellulose-gelatin (NaCMC-Gel) hydrogel scaffold was fabricated by freeze-drying successfully. Especially, the effect of cross linking of cellulose-gelatin hydrogel by physical (gamma radiation) approaches was focused. The hydrogel was freeze-dried for making the assembly a seamless porous scaffold. This scaffold maintained the well-defined compressive mechanical strength and porosity which is helpful for bone regenerating and thus the faster healing is possible. Detailed morphological and material characterizations such as compressive strength, porosity, microstructure analysis were carried out. MTT assay, confocal imaging were carried out as in vitro experiments to observe the cell attachment, proliferation and differentiation with pre-osteoblast MC3T3-E1. |
